Chongqing Bus Rapid Transit Intelligent Management Platform Design And Implementation

BRT Intelligent Platform Management is one of the important parts of the BRT System, which is the nerve and brain of BRT. The success of BRT is greatly relevant to the comprehensive application of the BRT's control and operation on the perfect-function Intelligent Platform Management as well as the organic integration of the Intelligent Platform Management and the BRT's business process.The premise of using BRT Intelligent Platform Management is the important basic theory research on how to distribute and dispatch etc. buses in the BRT net. We use the systematic project's theory and method, the modern communication, information, electronic control, computer, network, GPS and GIS etc. are put to use in the BRT system as well. Meanwhile, we will set up an intelligentized dispatch system, information service system and electronic toll collection system etc. to make the informationizing, modernizing and intelligentizing of BRT's dispatch, operation and management come true, so as to provide a safer, more comfortable and convenient public transportation service to the passengers. In this case, more people would like to choose the public transportation; then, the traffic of the city will become less crowed, and the city's traffic problem will be solved. This is BRT Intelligent Platform Management, and it can make a huge social and economic benefit.In this paper, I will analyze the demand, the objectives, logical framework and physical framework of the city transportation to make the BRT Intelligent Platform Management's function instantiated and modeling. By using developing technique, such as Visual Studio.NET, NET Framework and VB.NET Function etc., as well as data base, such as SQL Server 2005 etc., we will also develop Chongqing BRT Intelligent Platform Management's "intelligent scheduling module", "signal first-considered module", "arrival time calculation and display module", "control command module" and "TCP data interactive module" etc. In this case, BRT Intelligent Platform Management will be carried out easily.
