Mould enterprises are typical customized single-piece and small batch manufacturing enterprises. They have the features of order randomness, product technical complexity and frequent customers’consultation etc., which makes the mould production process need to improve the collaborative work platform support, and to integrate the internal and external various effective resources of the enterprises. At present, the application systems such as ERP and MES etc. implemented in most mould enterprises just provide information support for enterprise running from the local, they can’t create a comprehensive collaborative work environment. And the collaborative softwares in the market often only consider the general enterprises administrative office needs, unable to meet the practical requirements of mould enterprises.Therefore, a collaborative work platform for mould enterprises based on SharePoint Server2010was proposed. And the design and development of the platform had been done, realizing front-end integration of the business applications such as information sharing, document management, business collaboration, and process tracking. It has important practical application value.First of all, according to the analysis of the characteristics of mould enterprises, the mould enterprises value chain model was established. And the collaborative problems of mould enterprises in operation from the four core processes of order reception, product design, production-manufacturing and procurement warehousing were analysed. Aiming at these problems, Integrated the requirements of the mould enterprises to collaborative work platform in information sharing, internal and external collaboration, flow automation, and data integration etc.were proposed.Secondly, the key technologies of SharePoint were studied from security access control system, single sign-on, workflow technology, and WebPart method respectively. Their characteristics and application advantages had become clear.Again, the overall framework of collaborative work platform was built. And the function modules were modeled using the use case diagram of unified modeling language. The key functions of permissions system, user interface, document management, and collaborative work were designed detailedly according to the characteristics of the SharePoint. Among them, for quotes collaboration, technology assessment and other application scenarios, combined the workflow technology with the collaboration tools. put forward the multiple people collaborative workflow solutions.Finally, a collaborative work platform for mould enterprises was designed and developed based on the SharePoint technology and G2workflow components. And it has been applied to a mould enterprise, achieved good application effect.
