Smart Home Control System

With the development of science, people’s living is getting better and people’s living ideas more advanced. The advent of new communication technologies and Internet technologies continue to emerge, people also had higher levels of demands on the family environment. It is desirable to have a smart, safe and convenient home, smart home based on the requirements of rapid development.Smart Home based on family housing as a platform, combines computer technology, network technology, control technology, LAN and Internet connection, objects that can be monitored and controlled the family home, so as to enable monitoring and control of domestic information.First, this paper describes the intelligent home systems research background and significance, In the1980s, the United States first proposed in the field of intelligent building concept. In recent years, the scientific concept of development and people’s lives continue to make progress in the smart home is facing new opportunities and challenges, smart home field contains a huge opportunities to study intelligent home control system is necessary.Second, this paper introduces the research status of smart home, including the United States, Europe, Southeast Asia and China’s smart home situation. Then, the paper introduces the concept of Wi-Fi, features, principles and other relevant theories.Followed this paper introduces the intelligent home control system design based on Wi-Fi. This design according to lighting, rice cooker, air conditioning features of these appliances is designed with wireless Wi-Fi as a transmission medium for intelligent home control system, the system consists of smart phones as terminals, home gateways for Wi-Fi, smart phone via Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi wireless home gateway communicates with the wireless transmitter module Wi-Fi on the home gateway. Wi-Fi wireless receiver module includes a sub-node intelligent switches and infrared repeater.The family of the lights, rice cooker, air conditioning equipment and the corresponding sub-node connections, because each child node is equipped with a Wi-Fi receiver module, via these wireless transceiver module data can be exchanged between the gateway and the child nodes, enabling control of home appliances.Wi-Fi is based on its use in the design of fast transfer rate, simple wiring, equipment is lightweight, low power consumption, the advantages of Wi-Fi products on the market. Finally, this paper made the summary and the prospect of future development of smart home.
