Researchand Developmentof Smart Home Control System Based On Android

The development of Smart Home has enjoyed broad prospect, because of the rapid development of technology and the changing residential patterns. Traditional Home has developed into Smart Home by incorporated with technologies including electronic information, automation control and network communication. The combination and scheduling management of the fitment and security which are closely related to home living, buildup the control management system for Smart Home. As a new generation of the operating system, Android's unique openness makes it one of the most important mobile Internet terminal systems. The booming of Android system and the further development of Android technology, make rich selection and broad prospect for Smart Home terminal. This thesis started with the system structure and the growing trend of Smart Home, and then provided a solution for Smart Home control system based on Android.A brief introduction is made to present the background of Smart Home in this article, the overseas and domestic research status and the development trend. The analysis of the related key technology and an overall design for the Smart Home control system is given afterwards. Smart Home control terminal software based on Android is developed. On the basis of the overall design, the Interface design of the Smart Home control software is completed by the implementation of the Login interface, the main interface and the control interface of the Smart Home devices, the control software and home gateway communications, as well as the database design. A solution for smart home gateway is given, which is, the design of control gateway, by controlling the wireless transparent transmission from WIFI to the serial module in the gateway, and from the serial module to 433 M module. A method is provided to realize the communication between the smart home devices, the control gateway and the terminal control software, in order to abstract a control protocol model for Smart Home.In the end, tests are carried out for the Smart Home system. The results indicate that the Smart Home control system based on Android runs correctly and stably. The system achieves the desired research purpose and would have a high practical and reference value.
