The Design And Implementation Of Online Examination System

With the rapid development of computer network technology, the teaching method and information management face new challenges, which require the balanced development of every process in order to build a platform for information management and teaching by improving hardware and software.Wulanchabu Vocational College was set up in2004was authorized by InnerMongolia Autonomous Region,with the Ministry of Education official record. After ten years’effort, the computer center has eleven computer labs now(include five professional labs and six public labs) and contains four hundred computers. In2004, there were only three computer labs with150computers. So we need a perfect management system to meet the demand of teaching and improve the efficiency of daily work, in whice the design and implementation of online exam system is a key point. Generally, traditional exams need making up the exam content,students attenting the exams,artificial marking,assessment and analysis.The workload becomes larger and larger with the increasing of students’ umber.So the traditional exam method can’t meet the need of modern education.We should make good use of the computer technology to make paperless exam,which can decrease teachers’ workload and improve the teaching efficiency. In the meanwhile the quality of exams will be enhanced,thus guaranteed the exams’justice and righteous.This system is an on line examination system based on Asp.net to achieve the basic functions.It uses the B/S mode,ASP and SQL Server2000(DBMS). Users can access the server through browsers, so users can easily use the system.
