Work-study on campus has matured whereas its management information system is extremely backward. To develop a work-study management information system based on B/S model is badly needed, which would remedy the single-function, orchestration deficiency and low utilization efficiency of the original management system.In order to meet the urgent need of students, employment units and work-study departments, the paper do some research about work-study management information system on the basis of B/S model.Microsoft SQL Server2000is used as data server while Microsoft Visual Studio.NET2005is utilized as the prospects of development tools. Furthermore, ASP.NET and C#.NET are used for website applications while ADO.NET is utilized as data access. The data mining technology would achieve goals include the best candidate recommendation, student activities analysis, positions demand prediction and expenditure budget The basic functions have been achieved by cemputer technologies, which would remedy the single-function, orchestration deficiency and low utilization efficiency. The system would grasp work process, finish employment task, and evaluate performance, pay salary, exchange information.The testing indicated that the system reaches the primary target and allows different users to operate, authenticate identification and exchange data. The rationality of the work-study management information system based on web is validated, which makes system operation and department management more reasonable.
