Information technology has developed rapidly in recent years. The management ofprofessional collage has changed from the traditional manual mode into the digitalinformation mode. The management of students is an important factor to the managementof professional collage. To improve the students’ administration level through informationconstruction for the professional collage, establishing a system which meets professionalcollage’ requirements for management in integrated information of students is neededurgently. The data mining technology is a hot research area in recent years, and manyenterprises have successfully applied it, which obtained apparent effect in improvingmanagement efficiencies and economic benefits to the decision-making management.Many professional collage nowdays apply the data mining technology into the decisionmanagement system.According to the characteristics of the professional collage, the student integratedinformation management system was designed and developed. This paper introduces thesystem architecture, database design and functional modules, etc. Student integratedinformation management system integrated the students’ basic information management,student management, performance management and graduation management together, andachieved data sharing, which improves significantly the management efficiency ofstudents and security, and provide raw data for data mining.The paper focuses on the decision tree algorithm in data mining for application ofstudents’ quality analyses. This paper describes the whole process of data mining,including identifying the object and target of mining. Preparing data in the process of thedata selection, data preprocessing and data conversion. The model was generated andtested on basis of the analysis and comparison of several common decision tree algorithmsby WEKA data-mining tool. We have found the main factors that affect students’ qualityfrom the classification rules, which improves the analysis levels of data and providesdecision support for students’ education project and integrates the data mining module intothe student integrated information management system.
