Design And Implementation Of Natural Gas Station Measurement And Control System

Natural gas is a kind of clean energy. It’s efficient, environmental protection and so on which makes it an important composition of city gas. This paper based on PLC technology, wireless communication technology, video compression technology, as well as powerful Wince configuration software designs and implementations a natural gas central station monitoring system with upper and lower computer working together. The monitoring systems cooperates with gas gathering facilities on site to finish protecting the extraction work of natural gas safety and the work of pipeline transportation, which has great significance on daily production of natural gas central station.This paper is based on the actual functional requirements analysis of gas central station, and combines with the production and gas gathering process of natural gas to give the overall design program of the monitoring system, and the unit structure of the well station remote controlled by central station is analyzed on selection and designed on the communication protocols. PLC is the control center of the gas-collecting unit which uses the hardware redundancy program to complete field data acquisition, data tasks such as alarms and ball control. During the gas gathering process, the gas-collecting unit use Fuzzy PID control to control the liquid level constant of the two controlled phase separation process. The network transmission of live video and compression algorithms are described by Fuzzy PID control. The WinCC software is used to the development of the upper computer monitoring system which not only dynamic displays the on-site process, real-time and historical data trends and the state of the ball valve switch but also provides the alarm mechanism. And the needed production data information can be easily inquiry through message archiving feature and date. The upper computer is also used to finish the rights management of the staff and data of the central stationThe gas central station monitoring system use the real-time monitoring of the natural gas gathering field to complete the task such as ball valve control, data collection, status monitoring, data statistics, which achieve the reasonable dispatch of gas supply and make the management automation, information technology and networking and it also provides methods and ideas for the design and development of natural gas monitoring in the field of industrial control systems in the future.
