Design And Implementation Of Natural Gas Station Measurement And Control System

With the development of China’s natural gas industry, the calorific value is large and non-polluting natural gas has become an important part of the city gas.As the entrance of urban natural gas supplement, natural gas stations undertake the security of gas supply and the function of gas flow calculation. These jobs can be done well by the natural gas station measure and control system, it plays a very important role in the station’s operation.This paper which comes from the project of some natural gas stations upgrading, is based on PLC and the WinCC configuration software. It designs a natural gas station measure and control system of an upper and lower machine working together with high degree of automation and its implement.This paper is based on the needs and technology process of the natural gas station and makes an overall design scheme for the system, then it completes the design and implementation of the hardware and software of the system. First of all,the paper has studied the principle and method of natural gas flow calculation, and then it has completed the program about data acquisition and flow calculation based on PLC, and dealed with field data, alarm information and electric valves control etc.It also introduces lower computer component’s software redundancy program in the paper. It uses the WinCC configuration software of Siemens to develop the upper computer system, and this can achieve the display of technology process, field instruments’data, real-time, historical data trends,states of valve, and the management of natural gas station’s data and the staff’s permission. In order to make the function of the natural gas station real-time remote alarm come true, this paper has designed and implemented a short message alarm based on the technology of OPC.In this paper,the measureand controlsystem has completed the function of electric valves control, gas flow calculation, status monitoring, data reports, and SMS alarmthrough real-time monitoring and measurement of natural gas station field data. It has reasonable dispatched the supply of natural gas and made the managementbecome automation, information and networking. It has provided methods and ideas for the design and future development of the measure and controlsystemin natural gas industry.
