In twenty-first Century the rapid development of short distance wireless communication technology, wireless networks in various aspects of people’s daily life, take an indispensable role in information society. The continuous development of wireless communication technology innovation makes the network in real-life communication rate higher and higher, farther and farther transmission distance. However, is not limited to high-speed wireless communications rate, long-distance data transmission, wireless monitoring, wireless control, industrial data acquisition, smart home, security, medical monitoring and other applications, the communication network requires data transmission reliability, timeliness and immunity, RF-based short-range wireless communications transmission sensor networks are even more advantages.In this paper, in order to meet the low-cost, reliable, short-range wireless communications networking requirements, design and implementation of wireless network based on nRF24L01. The design mainly includes the module of wireless communication node hardware and wireless cluster network software design in two parts. Where in the wireless sensor nodes using a radio frequency chip nRF24L012.4Ghz and Freescale microcontrollers MCF51QE128, have good communication performance; Wireless clustering routing protocol uses hierarchical routing, from the data transmission chain of PEGASIS algorithm and LEACH algorithm for clustering, proposed routing protocol based on the characteristics of the nRF24L01chip, and the feasibility of the routing design is verified through the Matlab simulation, using the nRF24L01RF chip multi-channel characteristics and change the frequency characteristics, in order to meet the short distance wireless communication requirement of communication reliability, real-time and anti-interference.Tested by the sensor node design, the results show that the system in the open space of single point transmission distance can reach40meters, a number of sensor nodes with the change in location, transport cover an area of200square meters, with Matlab routing simulation results. The application of nRF24L01chip retransmission mechanism and change the frequency characteristics, the loss rate is below3%, strong anti-interference.Meet the short-range wireless data transmission network reliability, timeliness and robustness requirements and perform well.
