With the rapid development of internet technology, computer technology, communication technology and electronic technology, and requirement of people to access and exchange information at any time, wireless communication technology has begun to play an increasingly important role in daily lives of people, showing great potential for development. Among them, the wireless communication technology is an important branch, e.g. because of its unique advantages in cost, research, reliability and practicality, short distance wireless communication technology is gradually getting more and more widespread concern.In order to enhance the performance of the short distance wireless communication system and save the cost of short distance wireless communication, link budget, power management and multipath performance analysis become improve the high and low main way of short distance wireless communication system. Among them, the radio channel is very important to the performance of wireless communication. At the same time, the movement characteristics of short distance wireless channel test transceiver based on the wireless channel will be accompanied by the randomness, and exhibit time-varying characteristics, so that the short distance wireless channel propagation characteristic perplexing. Therefore, how to describe the short distance wireless channel transmission correctly, solve path loss and other key technology problem is the main work of this thesis.Firstly, after an overview of short-range wireless communication channels, a comprehensive analysis of the short distance wireless channel transmission test modeling and parameter calculation of the discussion. The frequency domain test modeling of short range wireless channel transmission is analyzed and realized in this thesis.Secondly, based on the MSP430 microcontroller, short range wireless channel test equipment is built, and the short range wireless application equipment is tested in the frequency domain of the radio frequency microwave 2.4GHz band. After modeling, the parameters of the test data processing and statistical analysis are obtained, and the model of short range wireless channel transmission is established.Finally, this thesis proposed suitable model for 40GHz desktop short distance wireless channel transmission. It derived and got the expressions of the reflection coefficient and path loss based on distance. Eventually, this thesis compared with the theoretically predicted data and relevant desktop environment test data to verify the accuracy of the path loss model.
