In the agricultural technology of the Internet of things, as the front-end unit information acquisition system, sensors have become increasingly important, and the filter is the most important function and the link as the sensor signal processing. Therefore, an in-depth study on the filter, a signal transmission performance helps to agriculture in the Internet of things to improve, it has become an important topic in the development of agricultural technology of the Internet of things. Good linearity is one of the main reason for the FIR (Finite Impulse Response, FIR) digital filters which are widely used in digital systems. In the practice of modern electronic engineering, the feature of real-time and flexibility in digital signal processing are two basic requirements, however traditional software and hardware implementation is difficult to satisfy these two requirements. With the development of programmable logic devices and EDA electronic technology advances, FPGA The implementation of FIR filter based on FPGA possesses the two features, So FIR is used more and more widely in digital filters.This paper is primarily focuses on the Distributed Arithmetic in FPGA-based of FIR filter and described as follows:Firstly, based on the basic structure and the basic principles of FIR digital filter and the basic theory of distributed algorithms, and then using distributed algorithm to achieve a filter. At the same time, according to the actual requirements, it also provides many optimum methods, such as the serial, parallel and the combination of the two. Secondly, Based on the characteristics of the FPGA hardware design and the actual design requirements, and by analysis, this article uses a serial design approach to achieve the8-tap linear FIR low-pass digital filter. At the same time, using the modular design concept, the filter is divided into multiple modules, and also using Verilog HDL hardware description language to programming, and finally finished the entire design.Thirdly, The functional simulation and timing simulation of the paper is finished by using the software of Quartus ⅡThe design idea and filter algorithm based on the digital filter design, and through the function simulation and timing simulation, not only provides a new way for the design and application of filter, for agricultural IOT sensor signal processing is good, the further application and development will promote agricultural iot.
