For solving this problem, the SMPTE put forward interface defines of2.97Gbpsdata rate, namely3G-SDI.3Gbps video small form-factor pluggable (3G Video SFP)optical module is designed just about for transmitting2.97Gbps business data withfiber-optical.Compared with SFP optical module which apply in SDH/SONET and Ethernet, it isthe greatest advantage of3G Video SFP that having ability to transmit and receiveSD-SDI/HD-SDI/3G-SDI video pathologic data pattern, and downward compatibility withSDH STM-16/SONET OC-48business data. Consequently, there are quite wide marketprospect and great competitiveness for3G Video SFP. This paper aim to research anddesign a transceiver optical module which supports SD-SDI/HD-SDI/3G-SDI videopathologic data pattern and is compatibility with MSA pin and Video pin.This paper consists of six chapters. The first chapter mainly introduces backgroundand significance of topic research, as well as describes main content of this paper. Thesecond chapter elaborates electric interface compatibility design and each part function of3G Video SFP, furthermore, in the mass brings up the design goal of this topic. The thirdchapter analyzes and designs the main circuit of3G Video SFP, including laser interfacecircuit, APD boost converter circuit and power supply slow start-up circuit, this chapter isthe focus point of the paper. The forth chapter analyzes high-speed signal reflection anddesigns characteristic impedance of transmission line, these theories analysis and designare the key point for keeping signal integrality. The fifth chapter gives the test ofsignificant index of3G Video SFP, the test results show that product design could meetrequirements. The last chapter is the summary of full paper. |
