The Documentary Archives Management System Of High Vocational College

Almost all of the colleges use archive to record the activities as the inspection in thefuture. It plays an increasingly important role in promoting a university and guaranteeing therights of school. Along with the continuous development of communication technology andthe rapid improvement of computer network, using information system to manage thearchives has gradually become the direction of modern management. Documentary archives isone of the most important part of archives, so it’s very significant to provide an effectivemanagement for them. Documentary archives’ information management system is used toprovide comprehensive support to archives business, which is very crucial to the collegeinformation platform.This paper first analyzes the related works and the background of the archivesmanagement system, especially for the high vocational colleges. Then it points out thecharacteristics of the archives management system, discusses the main problems to be solved,describes the requirements of the system, and illustrates the design and implementation forsome typical modules in the system in detail. The method to build the system proposed in thispaper has great application value to provide an important support for the digital managementimplementation of archives, network applications and the improvement of work efficiency inachieves management field.The main works of this paper is organized as follows:(1) Studied and analyzed the building model and content of the documentary achieves’informative system.(2) Studied and analyzed the requirements and general design of the system.(3) Designed test methods and Implemented the system.In order to solve the main problems of the traditional archives management in highvocational colleges and considered Xian Vocational and Technical College archivesinformation system requirements, this paper proposed an original method to build theuniversity archives management information system, which uses the domestic andinternational advanced ideas and methods rationally. Based on the method proposed in thispaper, we design and implement a simple archives management application system. It is concluded that this system can complete the documentation of the archives effectively.
