With the rapid development of electronic technology and urban trafficconstruction, speeding up the construction speed of the traffic lights, developingthe streetlight monitoring system of the energy conservation and environmentalprotection, promoting of urban intelligent streetlight monitoring system is one ofthe main measures of the energy saving plan, and actively promoting the citystreet construction is the focus of the construction of the modern urban transport.In this article, used the ST Company’s32-bit CortexTM-M3microprocessorTMS320LF2812as control chip of centralized controller, and adopted the powerline carrier chip PL3106C as controller chip of single lamp controller. Based onthe chip designed the hardware and software system of the controller. The systemis based on the support of power line carrier and GPRS communicationtechnology to detect each section of the lighting rate. The hardware circuit designmainly includes the design of the centralized controller, street lights controller, aswell as associated with the external circuit design and related modules of theselection and interface circuit design. The hardware design of centralizedcontroller includes the main controller module, GPRS module, SIM card circuit,power line carrier communication module, data memory module, the systemclock, serial communication and dc power supply, street lights controller includesthe relay circuit, voltage current acquisition circuit and PWM dimming circuit,etc for realization of automatic open and close. Through real-time monitoring andmeasurement for street lights, the single lamp controller could timely alarm forEmergencies in the line of street lights; Centralized controller hascommunication function for power line and the GPRS, the controller could realize the real-time transmission of the data for the control signals andstatus.Software part includes not only the module subroutine design, but alsodesign the relay communication dynamic routing strategy and single lightcontroller self-check function. Hardware and software combine to formStreetlight Monitoring System, online intelligent monitoring, increasing thenetwork coverage, with a remote control, telemetry, remote communication andmany other features.Monitoring software using the LabVIEW compiling, real-time control of theactual situation of street lamp, provided with display function for Electronic map.After the completion of the design of hardware circuit and softwareprogramming, this paper has several tests for Streetlight Monitoring System, theexperimental results confirm the feasibility of the design.
