The Design Of The Multimedia Teaching Equipment Management System

Since the1990s, with the rapid development of computers, networks and multimediatechnology, multimedia teaching techniques based on computer, projector and othermultimedia teaching equipment has been popular in most of institutions. The centralcontroller was invented due to the numerous descriptions and complicated operations ofmultimedia teaching equipment. In this case, you can control all the multimedia teachingequipment of a classroom by operating the central controller. However, it only simplifies themanipulation of a single classroom, it does not solve the problem of centralized managementof multiple classrooms, and managers still need to run around to every single classroom.This topic mainly studied the application of the RFID and WSN technology in themanagement of multimedia teaching equipment. Firstly,it expounded the technology of RFIDand WSN. Secondly,it analyzed the current problems of multimedia teaching equipmentmanagement, and put forward the solution based on the technology of Internet of things aswell as the system design based on the solution. Thirdly,it expatiated on routing protocol ofZigBee. Then it gave a detailed design of system, the design mainly includes: the hardwareand software design for read/write device based on RC522, the hardware and software designfor ZigBee coordinator, routers and terminal based on CC2530.Finally,it test the read/writedevice reading and writing the electronic tags as well as the ZigBee network communication.Creating an automated management system for multimedia classroom based on networkby combining the RFID and WSN technology and multimedia teaching methods, will not onlymake it convenient for teachers, but also simplifies the administrator’s work, and increases theefficiency of teaching, as result, raising multimedia classroom management to a new level. Atpresent, most of universities have not established such a system, so it has good marketprospects.
