In the globalization era of information sharing,the media image of the shape of a country plays a very important role in the international dissemination.With social progress and development,and environmental issues as an important issue repeatedly made public.Behind the text media coverage of the show is a country profile ecological dimension,it is the construction of a country's environmental image.As the largest developing country,China's environmental image study has important practical significance for China to better international communication,international competition and cooperation.In this study,one of the Western mainstream media,"New York Times" reported that China-related environmental analysis of the text,which outlines the construction of China's environmental image frame,as well as showing how the Chinese environment characterized by image and Construction.This study used qualitative analysis methods,selected the China-related environmental reports(2005-2014)from "New York Times",and finally get 393 samples.These reports will be placed under the framework of theoretical vision,by the number of macro analysis,the number of reported themes and framework issues,tendencies,and frame the issue,come to"The New York Times" China Environmental generally Portrayal.Meanwhile,the study reported typical subject matter,the article schema structure,diction,etc.,the use of low-level high school theoretical framework microscopic analysis,and strive to fully presented "The New York Times" China Environment under the mirror image.The theoretical literature well expand China's environmental image field of study,from the perspective of intercultural communication think,give some reference suggestions.
