Planning And Construction Of WCDMA Radio Access Network For WuHan Unicom

This thesis focuses on the analyses of WCDMA wireless network technology, which is one of the standards for3G mobile communications. It mainly discusses the networking of WCDMA wireless network, and makes planning for the wireless system of HuBei WuHan Unicom.In the first part, the thesis analyzes the key technology of WCDMA, which includes the introduction of its characteristics and advantages, the description of its networking design of the core network, the analyses to the functions, advantages, business development and progress of each technological standard, as well as the discussion of the networking of the system.In the second part, it mainly introduces the approval project of base station construction, project design and the knowledge of construction and management of WCDMA. Combined with practical works, it also presents the construction program and network structure of the first three WCDMA projects of Wuhan Unicom, the development of the technology application, the current situation of the wireless network and the facing problems of the network.In the final part, it not only focuses on the introduction to the planning, design and specific program of the Wuhan WCDMA wireless network, but also makes evaluation and summary to the planning and design through testing and index analyzing.
