With the issuance of 3G licenses, China Unicom and other operators, WCDMA technology in the global technology most widely used and most mature, the business end is the most abundant. Unicom need to use the advanced nature of the WCDMA, the difference operation in the mobile communications market place. But the current WCDMA network coverage, capacity can not meet the rapid development of the user. Unicom needs to be improved WCDMA network coverage, capacity and quality. This article is in this context, the the Yangquan Company 2010 WCDMA radio network planning and construction in order to provide users with high-quality 3G network.The authors are now employed in the the Yangquan Unicom network optimization center, as the province of technical experts, has long been engaged in the mobile network first-line maintenance and network optimization, to accumulate and master a large number of network planning and optimization of practical experience in this project, the organization and participate inthe needs analysis, building programs, guidance and participate in the completion of the optimization, the overall tracking control to optimize the effect.
