Spaceborne radio measurement system needs to exchange large amounts of data with other spaceborne equipments when it realizes the function of inter-satellite measurements and inter-satellite communication, which requires a timely and reliable data transmission technology. The1553B bus as a data transmission standard which is presented by the U.S. military, has many characteristics such as mature technology, high reliability and real-time, and widely is used in aerospace and other fields. Therefore research on and implement the data transmission technology of spaceborne radio measurement system based on1553B bus, has a very important value in engineering and economic interests.This paper focuses on the specific programs and hardware implementation of data transmission of spaceborne radio measurement system based on1553B bus. First, it gives the data transmission structure of the the spaceborne radio measurement system based on1553B bus, introduces the functions of1553B bus, points out the two data types and its transmission mode, and expounds the rationality that select the1553B bus as the data transfer interface of spaceborne radio measurement system. Design the data transmission hardware platform of spaceborne radio measurement system and produce the PCB, the platform is composed mainly by two terminal parts:bus controller, remote terminal, which both use the architecture that is FPGA plus BU61580. Detailedly describe the workflow of the bus controller and remote terminal, and design the program of the bus controller and remote terminal functions using hardware description language, especially for the polling, long loop testing, sending and receiving a single message and circular buffer messages functions of bus controller and sending request, clearing vector word, sending and receiving a single message and circular buffer messages functions of remote terminal, and then check the function of the two design terminal by simulation. Finally, respectively test the functions of the bus controller and remote terminal module by the test platform built by Quick View software and1553B functional simulation cards, and then in turn connected together for a joint test. The test results show that, the designed bus controller and remote terminal correctly implement the function of transceiver single messages and circular buffer messages under normal operating conditions, meet the requirements of data transmission, have the state that applies to the project and achieve the expected goals.
