With the development of information, computer, control and electronic technology in the second half of twenty century, the avionic system and industrial system need more and more functions of bus, and in some systems single bus can not meet the need any more, so hybrid-bus system become a trend. To meet the need of application, this thesis, which is based on the development of avionic and industrial bus in the world, research and realizes bus transition between CAN bus and 1553B bus in a hybrid-bus system through the design of bus transition card which is based on the embedded system.This thesis advances a transition card design project method which take the FPGA and ARM9 as the core after introduce the principle of 1553B and CAN bus protocol, and particularly introduces the process of realizing 1553B remote terminal protocol by FPGA and the process of programming the 1553B and CAN driver program which is under the ARM-Linux environment through the emulation picture and pictures from the oscilloscope. Then the thesis introduces the validation and test of the bus transition card's functions and performances, analysis and summarizes the problems met in the design.At last, by taking the self-design bus transition card as the core this thesis realizes the transition between CAN bus and 1553B bus and finish the practical validation and test of the bus transition technology under the exist command system which is based on the practicalCAN and 1553B bus system.
