China Telecom is one of the largest fixed-line network operators in China, is facingincreased professional competition and the challenge of new technologies. Since2006,the internet and mobile service brought huge impact on the traditional fixed-linenetwork voice services, resulting in increased business volume except the income. Theproblems of overinvestment, impact of the internet and decline in profits in thetelecommunication industry was caused by the growth of consumer demand andchanges of the market. The operators thus adapt their operating models to the volatilemarket. Therefore, China Telecom vigorously develops their social marketing channelsand increases market share as their first priority. The features of marketing channel areflexible, polytypic and wide-range, which attracted operators jostling for the socialmarketing channel.Kunming Telecom has developed marketing channels at a certain scale recently.While, there are still gaps in some areas. Furthermore, social marketing channelprovides unsatisfactory services in mobile service. Kunming branch of China Telecomneeds to enforce a simple, rapid and low-cost way to develop agents, and to go throughsocial sale channel to expand the scope of business services. For implementing the ideadescribed previously, establishing a synthetical agents-business management systemwith complete functions is needed.Kunming Telecom will utilize both Business Process Reengineering (BPR) andinformation technology support system to establish a management platform, whichprovides all telecom services and multiple convergent services including uniform andstandardized of marketers, process of service and after-sales service, focusing onnormalizing management system of sale channels, satisfying customers and improvingthe profitability of the enterprise.In this thesis, the background of establish Kunming Telecom sale channel servicemanagement system and its program was described. Case diagram, class digram andactivity diagram were performed to investigate the functional design and materialize ofthe management system. At last, the usage and prospect of this system in KunmingTelecom was introduced.
