As a component of IP internet, province backbone network belongs to the extension of core data network in various provinces. Its running status influence the access and performance of the network nodes in the whole province. At present, the development of information technology industry is so rapid that the technique and the requirement conflicts strongly and the new applications of telecommunication business appear frequently. The intense competition is challenging each network operator. At the same time, the rapid development of internet also provides great business opportunities to every network operator. A market competition on many aspects, such as business, service and technique is impending. How to provide novel customization business by sufficiently taking advantage of the network resource, how to provide high quality telecommunication services and how to own the future customer market are problems that telecommunication operator departments are facing. According to current situation, the decisions of the building of network are made mainly based on following principles:1) Clear and flat network levelsClear network structure and clarifying network levels based on existing network are important for controlling the data flow and providing steady network bearing.2) Differences of network qualitiesGradually deploying MPLS technology and Diffserv mechanism is the basis for providing different QOS level for different customers and different business. By gradually building lightweight and exclusive accessing equipments for important customers in business center, the disturbance of the business quality towards important customers caused by general customer data flow could be reduced greatly.3) Centralization and intelligence of management and control Achieving centralized schedule, monitoring and controlling of business, regularizing the interfaces of network management for equipments, strengthening the building of central network management systems, improving the possibility of network management, gradually implementing the real-time monitoring and management of network performance, providing various composite charging functions based on time, flow, quality and so on.4) Regularization of the requirement of equipmentsBy enacting technique specification, new equipments should support network functions and performance requirement of the MAN business. By this way, abilities of providing basic business in various MANs and network management could be achieved.The main problems of current network are insufficient network bandwidth and link protection. According to these problems, a solution of double stars network is presented in our thesis. Unified plan and deployment to the network is performed in terms of current business and future business development. The network levels and the functions on each level are explained. We illustrate the building of subordinate nodes from the point of view of hardware installation to software debug.Routing strategy is the core content of data network. It includes two kinds of information: routing in autonomy domain and the routing among domains, i.e. BGP and IGP. In the early stage of network construction, we did lots of work in the selection and deployment of routing strategy.As a main stream BGP routing style, OSPF has the characteristics of rapid convergence, adapting various business and great extensibility. In our project, OSPF is adopted as BGP. The core level and backbone level of the whole province are deployed into the same autonomy domain and local network of each city is deployed into autonomy domain alone. MPLS VPN is configured in each domain and there is no MPLS VPN business among the domains. Different VPNs for different business are divided according to current business type so that the network resources are utilized reasonably and the transformation resources with quality assurance are provided to important businesses. Because of the abundant properties of BGP, many difficulties appeared in the employment of BGP solutions. BGP is very important not only to network resource in one province but also to the network connecting to that province. The BGP employment determines the performance of whole network to great extent. The BGP employment in current network construction mainly covers the functions of controlling flow outgoing and ingoing province, communication of various Metro-city flow and operators. BGP employment mainly includes EBGP and IBGP. IBGP takes charge of network routing and the transforming of outside routing information inside AS. EBGP takes charge of the transform of routing information among AS. We designed the BGP following principle listed below:1) Internet needs to provide penetrating network services for users inside the net. It is also possible to provide penetrating network services for domestic ISP and network connecting with it. At the same time, it doesn't allow internet data outside our province to circuit though Jilin communication internet.2) User routing inside province networkIn principle, there is no user routing inside the province network. All the user routings are shielded in their metropolitan area network. By this way, the concussion to the whole province network caused by user network change is avoided.3) Connecting with other huge ISP network, routing strategy at this time could be involved in following two cases. In one case, this ISP network only communicates with data in the same network, not using internet exports link of the same network. This is to say two networks individually use their own internet exports link. The communication between the two networks is achieved by internet nodes. This way requires to set up a routing filter in the two routers to broadcast routing information to the other network and eliminate other routing information. In the other case, ISP network could use the internet exports link of the network. We configured related routing according to the concrete user requirement. This is also an important work of integrators.As an important problem of internet, network security is presented in detail from the point of view of province network plan. At the same time, this thesis also introduces the method of device installation and software debugging according to the unified deployment of province network.With the continuous development of information technology, more and more business would be transformed through internet and our daily life would closely connect with internet. The building of internet would be an important content of various telecommunication operators. Moreover, the quality of the building of internet is closely related to the operator's position in telecommunication market. Making internet into efficient, stable and highly extensible network, which also provide great general bearing capability, has become a main building goal of every telecommunication operator.
