The Design And Implementation Of Container Transport Management System Which For TianJin Eurasia International

The advantages of Container transportation such as quick, safe, efficient and lowcost bring a series changes in transportation organization, process of, loading andunloading in transportation, bills and documents, method of Transportation dredge and,the management is complex. A large number of reports, bills and documents must behandled and transferred quickly and correctly in a relatively short of time. Thetraditional manual management can’t adapt to the need of modern transportationmanagement more and more. With the rapid development of container transportation inTianjin port Eurasia international container business, business scale expanding largerand larger,-information management which base on computer becomes very necessary.This thesis mainly studies the information management process of in working flowof full container transportation. The main contents include: A. study the basicinformation management of the container transport related; B. study how to managecontainer shipping operation s by system; C. study how to manage container vanning bysystem; D. study how to transit and ship the container by system. The thesis writingfrom topic background, present situation in research related in China and abroad,system requirement analysis, system design and system implementation and testing, etc.In technical route, the system adopts B/S architecture, SQL Server2005database,tomcat application Server, which developed based on JSP technology. The maininnovation of this thesis is:(1) Designed and implemented a container transportation management informationsystem, including basic information management, container operation, containervanning, and container transfer multiple, container loading and unloading, goodsdelivery.(2) System provides the international standard of EDI message sending andreceiving function, at the same time reserved standard communication interface and datainterface. The system implemented highly efficiency business process management,optimization business process, and automation exchange information between customerand company, improved the yard customer service levels and customer satisfactiongreatly.(3) System realized the container position graphic display function, the image can intuitively show the container depot location in yard, the number of container depotlayer and reference of container, and provide yard storage ability, location, regionaldistribution and other auxiliary information, effectively realized the yard intuitive andefficient management.At present, container transport management system which described in the thesisdesigned for Tianjin Eurasia international container transportation Co, Ltd. has beenimplemented successfully, and passes the detailed test. Function test and performancetest results show that the system meets all of expected requirements of user, completeimplemental of functions. To sum up, this system realized the no-paper office incontainer transportation management; it can improve the coordination between variousdepartments significantly, improve the efficiency of container transportationmanagement effectively, and decrease the cost of container transportation.
