Design And Implementation Of Hotel Management Information System Based On ASP.NET

As the rapid development of the hotel industry, and its self-generated data aregrowing expansively.The hotel industry is encounter more and more competition. So itis an important method to maintain high competitiveness in hotels by managing theseuseful information data effectively. At the same time, software technology developmentand database technology are gradually improved at present. As a result, a lot of hotelschoose to use software to manage hotel’s information.This thesis researches anddevelops a set of hotel management information system.This thesis firstly introduces domestic and foreign research and development statusof hotel management information system. Secondly, it introduces that the hotelinformation management system needs to use relevant technology basing on using theASP.NET technology, and focuses on the run mechanism of ASP.NET, in addition tomention the development environment when developing the information managementsystem. Then according to the actual requirements of this system, the functionalrequirements are divided into two major parts by the general staff of these two types ofadministrators and ordinary employees. They are the functional requirements ofadministrators and the functional requirements of ordinary employees, and are detailedintroduced according to the function flow chart. In the meantime,this thesis describeslots of performance requirements about this system.Then again,according to thefunctional requirements,the thesis narrates how to design the database to meet thesystem’s demand while explaining in detail the datum’s type and representatives ofsignificance of each field in data tables.At the same time,analysing and designing thedevelopment of the system architecture based on the three-tier architecture which ismade up of data layer,business logic layer and presentation layer.And the next,the thesisdescribes the detailed design steps of the hotel information management on the basis ofprevious theoretical work completed,shows a number of main interface,and explainsmany important functions’ codes.When the system’s design is completed, a real exampleis given to test and analysis the system’s function.In the end, there is the sum andprospect about the thesis.There are following many features of this hotel management information system:the system uses the popular B/S structure, such as MD5encryption technology which is used to protect user’s information safe, soft delete method which can recover lots ofimportant datum, session technology which can be used to judge whether the currentuser owns the right to view the current page, master page technology which is used tokeep pages hava a common standard, Ajax technology which is used to improve thespeed of loading pages, and so on. Those technologies will be introduced in detail whenbe used in the thesis.
