China Soft Hotel Management System Design And Implementation

With the development of the Enterprise Information System and the broadapplication of the computer network technology, the utilization of computer technologyin Enterprise Information Management has raised. In order to improve managementlevel and competitive power of hotel, the intelligent Hotel Management Systembecomes the only choice of hotel proprietors. Besides, intelligent management systemcontributes to both economic and social benefits. As an aggregation of restaurant,entertainment, room service, bathe, commercial as well as communication, the modernhotels demand to utilize intelligent management of computers and net work systems toreduce the costs and risks, and to improve work efficiency, service quality andmanagement level.In this thesis, the development process of intelligent Hotel Management System isdiscussed. Based on the outstanding foundation of present management systems, thisnew intelligent system adopts advanced software and hardware technology. Also, theanalysis process and design process are both introduced. In which, the analysis ofinformation flow, and the design of system structure, system function and data base Etcare all discussed.The software part of this article is about the exploitation and integration of hotelsystem. The exploiting process of software platform is introduced. The frontal tool andrear tool are respectively Visual Basic6.0and SQL Server2000. And ODBCtechnology is adopted to combine these two parts. The operation system is Windows2000/XP. Also, the realization approach, including the realization of main function anddata base, is discussed. Finally, the characteristics and advantages of this system arerevealed.
