Design And Development Of ERP System For Small And Medium-sized Enterprises

As an important part of the imformation society, an issue that all enterprises face ishow to improve informationization and standardization. ERP systems have a goodprospect and become more popular in small and medium-sized enterprises because itsadvanced management principles and strict system structure. Then on the basis of theanalysis of the development and research situation of ERP, an ERP system is built withthe integrated theories and technologies application of ERP and data warehouse anddata mining and with the combination of practical operation mode and development.First, the research content and objective of this paper are presented and the plan isdeveloped according to the ERP development and the present research and applicationsituation. Second, the system requirements for function and performance and safety areanalyzed by tracking and investigating small and medium-sized enterprises and the plancombining with business intelligence has been researched. Third, the framework of ERPsystem is setup and the system is divided into administrator module, personnelmanagement module and marketing management module.In addition, the functionalstructure of each module is drawn up. At the meantime, the system database andauthority are designed. Fouth，the environment the system development required isintroduced and all functional modules including login module,personnel managementmodule,sales module,purchasing module and stock module are coded by making use ofvarious technologies. At last, the goal, method and steps of system test are introducedbriefly and the test process is illustrated.ERP system for small and medium-sized enterprises is an opened, dynamic andflexible information system. It is a good practice to study the system and will promoteinformation construction in small and medium-sized enterprises to a new level.
