Research And Development On Manufactuirng Execution System In Mold Industry

The Mould Industry has become a very important economic sector in modern machinerymanufacturing, and there is many new product development or production depending on it,for example in the automotive, light industry, electronics, and aerospace industries. TheMould Enterprise is a typical single order for the production of multi-species enterprises.Effective control of the production process is very difficult in the mold companies, because ofthe randomness of orders and production equipment in the process of instability, which leadto a series of management problems, such as delivery delay or can’t guarantee the quality ofextension. To improve the level of Mold Enterprise management is the natural choice whichrealization of management information.The production management process of the Mold Enterprise workshop is morecomplicated than the discrete manufacturing companies. From the information point of view,the used information systems of manufacturing production management can’t meet the needswhich mold workshop production management of complex business processes, and can’tprovide the corresponding support of the problems which Mold Enterprise managementprocess in the production, so it is difficult to give effective guidance for the managementpractice of production process. MES is the management information system which between inthe upper project control system and lower plan management system. MES is mainly used onworkshop management and control the process of production, so the Mold Enterprisesurgently need the support of MES systems. Mould enterprise is mainly for the production ofsmall orders, MES is between ERP (enterprise resource planning system) and automaticcontrol system (DCS, PLC, etc.), but does not apply to mould enterprise management status.Mould enterprise is small, but the all-sided, so we will use the relevant theories and conceptsof MES, combining mould enterprise basically no use ERP system status, research for mouldenterprise management situation of MES structure.In this paper, we study on themanufacturing execution systems models of Mold Enterprise, and MES mold-related issues:1.Analyses the typical features of mould enterprise production workshop,given the position of enterprise information system for manufacturing execution system, analyses theoperating environment of mould MES development,proposed the functional requirements ofmanufacturing execution system with mold enterprise needs, based on the Web construct theoverall structure of mould manufacturing execution system.2．According to the function requirement, the detailed design for each modules of mouldMES, do the necessary preparations to construction mould MES.3. Using the priority scheduling which heuristic algorithm to arrange the production lineof mould parts.4. Try to develop a set of management information system of mould MES, and to realizethe basic business processes.
