The competitive advantange of the market is dominated by leading technologies as the integration of IT application and industrialization proposed. More and more advanced flexible manufacturing systems(FMS) and flexible manufacturing lines(FML) are brought from foreign countries and researched and developmented by the manufacturer. It aims to enable the increase in efficiency and product quality. At the same time, production scheduling becomes a major problem in flexible manufacturing due to the complexity of coordinating the T(time), Q(quality), C(cost), S(service) and E(environment). It’s very important for manufacturers to use limited resources to lower the cost, shorten the production cycle and ensure the delivery.CNC processing, CMM detecting and EDM processing are considered to be three of the most vital phases in the manufacturing of injection mold, they are also the constraints that affect the cost and delivery of the production. The complexity of the scheduling problem is given in the first chapter, with the flexible manufacturing workshop of injection mold.Bat Algorithm(BA) analysis is put forward through Markov chain approach and the key parameters of BA are found in the second chapter. The Grouped Bat Algorithm(GBA) is proposed according to the key parameters and proved to be effective in the third chapter. At the same time, the scheduling problem based on the makespan can be solved by GBA. In the fourth chapter the focusing is on the application of GBA in the flexible manufacturing workshop with two objectives, the makespan and minimization of the routing distance. The routing distance is also divided into two conditions. The last chapter introduces the integrated programming of C# and Matlab, which is used to developed an intelligent scheduling system for flexible manufacturing of precision injection mold.The application of intelligent bionic algorithm is given to solve single-objective and double-objective scheduling problems in flexible manufacturing lines in the paper. It brings the improvement in efficiency and competitiveness for manufacturers.
