Since published in1984, Jin Wan Bao, the unique evening newspapers in Tianjin, made outstanding contributions for native development and changes. This newspaper in also different from the metropolitan newspapers founded in1990s as Jin Wan Bao paid more attention to overall layout of the newspaper editing and manuscript selection. Compared with them, Jin Wan Bao is more macro. It can be said that, from the date on birth, Jin Wan Bao gained the appreciation of the Tianjin readers because of special market positioning and reported ways of closing to readers. And it has become the one of the most popular newspaper in four evening newspapers.In order to adapting to development and change of society and market, Jin Wan Bao has repeatedly revised and explore a unique way of development gradually---keeping a foothold in Tianjin and closing to people---that is to say, reporting the livelihood of the people news which is related to interests of people. From the date of birth to2000, during these16years, the livelihood of the people news is always important and from this point, we can see a responsible newspaper that focus on his readers, and we can witness the footprints of change of Tianjin society development in nearly20years.This paper focus on the livelihood of the people news, then analysis the changes on strategy and content from different time in the development of Tianjin.
