RFID technology has the advantages of strong carrying capacity, identification distance, high security, large information capacity, high accuracy, etc. It can improve the efficiency of storing goods,inventory, moving goods and outbound and so on by using RFID technology in warehouse management,so as to effectively improve the management efficiency of the entire warehouse. However, the huge amounts of RFID data generated in the actual use of RFID technology needs the RFID middleware with efficient filtering ability, so enhance RFID data processing ability of the warehouse management system.This paper introduces the application of RFID technology in logistics industry, analyzes the RFID middleware technology in the research status of both at home and abroad,describes the composition and working principle of RFID system, expounds the characteristics, classification, and the advantages of RFID middleware.Then to carry on the design,the RFID middleware is divided into three layer with hardware abstraction layer, data management, application of abstraction layer according to the characteristic and redundant categories of RFID data storage management. Focus on the research and design of data filtering part in the RFID middleware, innovative design the filter methods of preliminary filter,duplicate tags filter, duplicate readers filter and behavior filter and so on.Finally, A warehouse management system was designed and developed based on the practical need by using the RFID middleware, After the system put into use, verified the advantage of RFID middleware, good results have been achieved. This design research and development work, has some advanced and practical significance.
