Design And Implementation Of Qilu Cultural Resources Retrieval System

Qilu culture is one of the hot topics in the study of the current culture. Qilu culture has kindsof resources including various ancient and modern literatures, Chinese and foreign literatures. Italso includes kinds of texts, books, literatures, pictures, images, audio and videos resources. Thetraditional manual storage and query are unable to meet the modern management demand ofhuge amounts of resources, therefore we created resources database and retrieval system withthe help of scientific and reasonable network platform.This paper’s main works and innovative points include the following aspects:1. We completed the demand analysis of the system through the analysis of the characteristicsof qilu culture resources,research needs and research of related literature at home and abroad. Inthe requirements analysis phase, we determined functional requirements, nonfunctionalrequirements, development environment of software and hardware requirements, technologieswe used and so on. We drew the use case diagram and activity diagram of the system.2. According to the requirements document, we designed the system. This system adopts B/Sthree layer structure mode. The system includes these function modules:user login andregistration module, text images audio video resources retrieval module, guessing your favouriteresources module, user’ s personal center module, resource sharing module, utility tool module,friendly links module, etc. Then we designed database of system.3. System implementation, testing and publishing. We completed all function modules of thesystem using Visual Studio2008development tools and Visual C#programming language. Thispaper shows interface pictures and key code. We corrected bugs and defects existing in thesystem. We published web site. The web site runs well and has stable performance.4. Main innovative points of system: Considering needs of researchers and users, this systemperformed function of user login management and pushing resources. User can manage personalinformation, collect resources to personal favorites, manage personal favorites. The system canpush appropriate resources according user’s browsing history, guess what user like to realize theindividuation and intelligent service.
