With the continuous progress in semiconductor-related technology, the overall performance of the DSP chip also has been greatly improved, and the chip has played an irreplaceable role in many areas of modern life.However, DSP has been difficult to meet the needs of various systems’ processing power in the face of gradually increasing application need of multiple areas, especially some occasions of real-time requirement. And subject to the existing technology,improving the chip’s clock speed alone is not an effective means. One of the current mainstream solutions is to integrate multiple DSPs in a single processing board with auxiliary chips, enhancing the overall processing capability of the system.In this paper, On the basis of full analysis on schemes of existing multi-DSP system,we have put forward two solutions of parallel processing system,which separately constitutes two-chip、four-chip DSP and one FPGA,besides use10ports of DSP as synchronization signal. First, on the basis of comparison of existing solutions of multi-DSP system and available resources, we propose overall system design of meeting our own needs; Secondly,we present specific hardware circuit design of the system’s various functional modules; Then, under the guidance of signal integrity, power integrity simulation results and related design principles we complete PCB design of system circuit; Finally,we set the system debugging software environment,complete fabrication、welding and debugging of PCB, transplant existing program of image fusion algorithm to system, and evaluate system performance.
