Based on the trend of energy-saving and thinner of Back Light Unit this paper focus on Light Guide Plate, one of the core devices, combine with the transmission-scattering theory and the technics of microlens ,the design of light guide plate is researched. By assistant design of Light Tools, the model of 3 inches light guide plate based on the arrays of microlens and LEDs is set up, the most optimized parameters is obtained and the optimized model with the illuminance uniformity as high as 87.50% is achieved with the method of ray-tracing. Based on these theories the sample of the light guide plate is made with the technics of Nanoimprint and Ultra Violet-Nanoimprint Lithography. The result of 9 points test shows that the luminance uniformity of this light guide plate sample reaches 73.9%, testifies the rationality of the design to a certain extent.
