Carrier’s Carrier BGP/MPLS VPN has become a main solution because of itsscalability, expansibility, privacy, and low-cost. With Internet development in China,a large number of secondary-ISP companies have to lease bandwidth fromprimary-ISP companies at a high price, and at the same time they have to competewith primary-ISP companies for the users. Their top priorities are how to survive inthe fierce market competition and create more profit. The way to solve these problemsinclude the following aspects:First, we need to reduce the cost of leasing networkbandwidth; Second, you need to make full use of bandwidth resources; Third, therational allocation of the resource utilization of network bandwidth and improve theconvergence speed of failure to enhance the user’s network experience. Fourth,minimize reliance on primary-ISP companies. Through the use of MPLS TEtechnology, ISP can be reasonably and accurately control the path of traffic flows toavoid congested nodes and prevent some path load from being too heavy in order tomake other path bandwidth resources fully utilized, which means the true meaning ofthe load balancing and the insurance of the quality of service. At the same time it canimprove the convergence speed of failure by Fast Reroute. In short, technology ofTraffic Engineering with MPLS can solve most problems. But the current BGP/MPLSVPN architecture does not support the RSVP-TE instance running in the context of aVRF to process RSVP messages as defined in RFC4364RFC1633and RFC2210. Sosecondary-ISP cannot make an establishment of the TE LSP over the service-providercore network, that is to say, secondary-ISP companies can not effectively solve thecurrent problems by using the MPLS TE.The article proposed to combine PWE3architecture and CSC BGP/MPLS VPNarchitecture and establish a virtual connection between the CE router in order toindependently and directly exchange and process RSVP, OSPF, MPLS, TrafficEngineering’s message and flood OSPF LSA10to the entire network so that the RSVPTraffic Engineering Tunnels can be established across the MPLS VPN network andthe size of the PE router VRF routing table and the burden on an ISP can be cut downand the scalability can be improved.In the article, the author uses the network simulation method, making networksimulation experiments on the CSC BGP/MPLS VPN and making improvement in CSC BGP/MPLS-VPN model. And the author compared the effect of LDP andL2TPv3virtual connectivity solutions with that of existing solution and the resultshows that the improved model solve the problem of MPLS TE across theBGP/MPLS-VPN, and it reduces an ISP burden, increases scalability, improvesnetwork bandwidth utilization, load balancing, achieves the priority of the users,improves the experience of the user network and fast failover and reduces thedependence on service providers.
