The paper presents the design and implementation solution of MPLS TE. At first, The trend of IP network is discussed. Then is the basic concept and function of MPLS andTE. The module decomposition of TE, which includes packet forwarding, Information flooding module which is the extension of routing protocol using SPF, CSPF module which is the improvement of SPF algorithm, the choice of two different kinds of signaling protocols. Routing policy which relates to how to use TE-LSP in flexible way is suggested. The remainder is to give the specific implementation of CR-LDP module and CR-LSP management module such as key data structure, state machine roughly and some traffic engineering local policy.It is based on the cooperative project with Huawei Technologies. And the author participate the design of MPLS TE and implementation of CR-LDP module and the interface part of CR-LSP management module.
