The Design And Plan Of Chinaunicom IP Carrier Network

IP carrier network is based on IP technology, carrying multi-function, including data, audio, and video. To meet the requirements of IP carrier for the telecommunication business development, to support soft switch in the long term, the development of 3G, IMS networks and public data traffic, Chinaunicom intend to build the carrier network based on IP. This paper descripts and sum up the considerations and key technologies involved.This paper is divided as Six chapters,namely the forwarding,basic concept of IP carrier network,key technologies of IP carrier network involved,reliability of IP carrier network,service quality of IP carrier network, network safety of IP carrier network.Chaper 1 presents the necessity and background of building IP carrier network,and Construction plan determination,and author's prime task and achievement. Chapter 2 presents the basic concept of IP carrier network, Specify based on MPLS technology basic principle. Chapter 3 to Chapter 6 presents the key technologies of IP carrier network, service quality of IP carrier network, network safety of IP carrier network, and the scheme of technologies abovementioned in IP carrier network of Chinaunicom.Finally, the plan presented in this paper satisfies the requirement of telecommunication network development trending to IP of Chinaunicom in the future, consequently support the network development trending to soft switch, 3G and IMS, promotes the business development and competition ability of Chinaunicom.
