This paper discusses the software design and implementation of Li-Fung Company’s production and marketing information system. It gives software scenario design and system implementation according to the company’s real business requirement.First, it summarizes related management and information technology foundation, and gives system function analysis then. It focuses on analyzing the product order form management function, order form price offer and price check processing function, order form production task and raw material purchase management function, merchandise sale and delivery management function, etc. On the basis of demand analysis, it builds the software’s design scenario. It first discusses outlined design, software’s system architecture and database design, then focuses on discussing the internal flow design of production task management module, order form management module and merchandise sale management module. After design scenario, it discusses corresponding programming implementation and testing of the software development. Li-Fung company’s production and marketing management information system is implemented by multi-layer architecture, uses Microsoft Web Server IIS and SQL Server2008database as its main working platform, the environment bases on Windows/.NET. This software is debugged via VS2010and multiple advanced and effective modern software engineering techniques are applied in this project to make the system practical and reliable.The software system works well now, and efficiently improves the company’s production and market management benefit, reduces the unreliability due to human operations and obtains a good-level user friendship.
