Interpersonal Communication Th Rough Smartphone

As the wide spread of Internet and fast development of smartphone, the pattern of interpersonal communication has changed greatly due to the change of media type. Traditional face to face communication has been replaced by virtual way, especially through smartphone via thousands of apps, Wechat, for instance. However, even though the new virtual interpersonal communication pattern became a lifestyle among modern people, it still has lots reflections of traditional patterns.In this article, by analyzing the basic feature of Wechat and the fundamental interpersonal communication patterns trough motive, object, and typical model, the author found that the interpersonal communication patterns has dozens of advantages, for it is private, humanized, convenient, and effective. But Wechat, on the other hand, has disadvantages like people could not get instant reply, and they often misunderstand each other because of the absence of physical impressions.Moreover, she analyzed the new feature of Wechat interpersonal pattern from communication subject, object, environment, the whole process and the role people played. Then she compared the traditional face to face interpersonal communication patterns and the virtual one and emphasized how new media feature can be a supplement of face to face interpersonal communication other than totally changed it. At last, the author analyzed the muilti-effect of interpersonal communication trough smartphone.
