In the fast-paced life,WeChat is no longer just a communication tool,but a decentralized social platform.Different from the socialization of acquaintances at the very beginning,WeChat affects our lives in a way that is different from other platforms.“Moments”,the most used features of WeChat,bringing a lot of convenience to people's interactions,for it breaks the space the limit of traditional sociality and makes the existed relationships can be well maintained in the virtual space.However,the double-sided nature of things makes the use of Moments' functions inevitably cause tension in real human relationships.From the perspective of function,this study analyzes the various functions of the Moment and the impact of these functions on interpersonal communication.It is believe that the influence of the circle of friends on the interpersonal communication has positive and negative aspects.In the positive influence,the Moment has expanded the interpersonal communication objects while maintaining the existed interpersonal relationships in reality.In addition,it has also played a cumulative role in the individual social capital of users.However,the exposure of personal information and the asymmetry of the dissemination caused some users to retire,as well as the misunderstanding caused by the shielding and grouping of friends,which has caused a negative impact on interpersonal communication.The purpose of proposing these effects is to remind users not to cause virtual reality and light reality because of the interplay between virtual social and social reality.In particular,the presence of these functions in the circle of friends is very subtle.Do not let our interpersonal relationships be trapped in these functions.
