The Software Design And Realization Of The Vehicle Monitoring System Based On GPS

The dissertation analyzed the technology about GPS, GIS and GSM which are involved in the system, and expatiated the whole process about the design and realization of the monitoring center.In this dissertation, I introduce the theory and application of GPS. Next I give the introduction to GIS, especially the MapX —the ActiveX control Developed by MapInfo, through which, we display the electronic map. On the basis of the demand analysis of wireless mobile communication, the dissertation researched the system of short message service-SMS which now has applied widely. Especially studied the set of AT commands and PDU mode through which we realized the transmission of GPS data. The monitoring center is a LAN consists of client, communication server and database server, every of which is analyzed and the implementation of functional modules is given.I discuss some key technology concretely for improving the system performance on the basis of research to the basic function.Magnifying map mobiles often departure the road. So we derive road-matching orientation suitable for MapX to reduce the offset.At the same time, I research the protocol of China Mobile Peer to Peer (CMPP) and advance the solution project that can improve the speed of information transaction greatly. At last, I advance the solution project to extend the system functions.Because of the limitation of time and energy, the functions realized in this research are only the basic functions of a monitoring center based on GPS/GIS/GSM. With the progress in the research, I think, the function will be consummate gradually; the use of this monitoring center will improve the safety to, enhance the benefit of the vehicles.
