With the development of computer and network technology, virtual reality technology and the Internet of Things technology have been used to manage the teaching equipment online, such as educational server rooms. Visualization and intelligence of the virtual environment (VE) make the work of management easy, as environmental parameters can be dynamically labeled and monitored. How to reconstruct the VE for a server room based on sketch description and make it accept the parameters from sensors is a challenge, which is valuable and meaningful in the development of IOT and intelligentizing server room management. Taking the development of the distance VE of server rooms as background, this thesis makes a study of the current methods and techniques to generate VEs, based on which a way of generation of3D VE based on sketch description is proposed. And a testing human-computer interactive system with multiple documents is accomplished, which can be used to be the basic display and management module in the smart management for server rooms.The main tasks of this thesis are as follows:(1) Summarize the current methods and technologies of VE generation and provide a method to generate three-dimensional VEs based on sketch description. Taking the development of the VE of server rooms as background, the theories and algorithms of that method are provided. Besides, some key technologies and methods need to use are introduced, and also the process of generating VE based on sketch description is explained.(2) Develop a VE generation system based on sketch description with the Qt application development framework and Irrlicht engine and describe the details of implementations. System development tools and their environment configuration are described, meanwhile, the implement method of the system framework and the main system modules are explicated. Also some key technologies and methods need to use in the system are illustrated.(3) Taking into account that the three-dimensional visualization technology using in educational resources management can not only improve work efficiency but also conducive to the education resource optimization, a design of how to use the system to monitor and manage the educational server rooms is provided.
