To change the old students management mode, provides away to facilitate the management of students in all aspects of information for eachdepartment of the Ministry of education, Department, logistics department, in order toachieve the " people-oriented" teaching ideas, it is necessary for us to use the existingsoftware and hardware resources to design a student integrated management system thatcan urge the student management more humane,more efficient, more convenient.Taking the actual situation of Tianjin Open University into account, This thesiscombines all kinds of factors, based on the relational database MySQL, have had anappropriate data integration and mining, used Jsp dynamic Web technology, to realizethe comprehensive information management of the students in our school. System usesJava as program language, MySQL as database, the Windows2003Server SP1operating system as it`s server and Tomcat6.0as it`s Container, client uses IE6.0orabove level browser. The system adopts MVC three-tier structure as it`s Technicalarchitecture, designs a student information management system with B/S mode. Thisthesis gives the detail design of the system, the test cases are given in the test part. Atthe same time, we will also use other related auxiliary data and security measures tokeep the system integrity. In the design process, some of the users of the system willalso be involved to make the system more close to the application requirements.Compare with other student information management systems, the biggest featureof this system is tightly close to the actual situation of Tianjin Open University, easily touse and reasonable structure. With the system put into use, it can greatly improve thestudent information management level of Tianjin Open University, enable studentsinformation management work more normalization and standardized, realize the datasharing between business units of this school. The test of this system demonstrate thesystem design of each module satisfying the requirements of colleges integrated management system well, and providing a better end-user experience.
