Research, Information Management System Based On Web Applications

This thesis is mainly concerned with applications of two-layer mode ofclient/server and three-layer one of browser/server in web systems on conditionof distributed network. Applications and realization methods of MIS based onweb are also discussed in the thesis. A new development mode is formulated tocombine the two-layer client/server mode together with the three-layerbrowser/server mode, which not only reinforces the safety of the MIS based onweb but also improves the reliability and flexibility of the system. By means ofthis method,the website and the MIS for the School of Automation andInformation Engineering in Xi'an University of Technology is developed andhas been successfully put into operation.
