The service character of modern commercial banks decides its existent style. It should supply high quality and efficient service to maintain continuable development. Nowadays electronic equipment has been widely used in various areas of commercial banks, and the operation, response time and effectiveness would directly affect the quality of services of commercial banks. Thus the management of electronic equipment attracts more and more attention, and the professional commercial bank equipment information system appears.After introducing J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition) technology specification,the JSP and Oracle technique, this paper gives a detailed analysis of operational and system requirements of commercial banks'equipment management information system. Based on J2EE specification and criterion, the paper presents an enterprise level distributed equipment management platform using B/S mode with JSP application technique. And the paper gives a detail of the main module of the system and database design that is relative to Oracle. Finally the paper gives a simple presentation to the system realization and capability testing.The design of equipment management information system based on J2EE platform using B/S mode makes use of groupware technique sufficiently, in the aspect of Web container Tomcat technique can complete page processing, in the aspect of database interface JDBC technique can carry out correspondence with database, in the aspect of the customer alternation manner browser can carry out the customer interview and operations. Three tier's distributed architecture is maked up of customer layer, operation layer and database layer, not only separates the client layer from complex businesss prcession to unify the access function but also predigest the business process of server layer to improve data process efficiency. In module design this fllow system requirement, so the system is carved up five function modules such as basal information management, contract information management, equipments register, maintain management and statement statisticses, this optimize flow design, then achieve system target. Using any computer in company intranet can access equipment management information system by web browser and accessing is very convenient and swift. The runtime stability and strong business process ability have been approved by multi-user intercurrent access test.The thesis combines the practice all the time. One side, it analyzes the scientific way of building distributed system based on J2EE platform detailedly. On the other side, it combines the implementation of the management information system to demonstrate the validity of scientific way. Thus the paper not only has theory base but also has successful practical significance. For the commercial banks in terms of informationization, this topic research has the important application value and the promoted meaning.
