| With the rapid development of global science and technology in 21st century, computer has gradually turned into the important means and facilities to actualize modernized management, computer science and technology has also developed into the phase of networking and intellectualization, whose applicative range grows wider and wider. As the higher vocational education vigorously promoted by our country, especially with the continual expansion and enhancive number of student recruitment of higher vocational schools and colleges, however the information and materials of students remains at the phase of handing over paper documents manually, as has already formed a bottleneck for colleges to manage information. In order to enhance management level and operating strength thus, efficient application software for students'information is urgently required, utilizing modernized information technology to augment the management and supervision over the students. Consequently, under current situation, it is essential to research and develop student information management system for higher vocational colleges, as is also feasible.The system commenced from the actual task of Shenyang Polytechnic College, with the full-speed development of my college in recent years, diversification of operating modes, and the gradual enlargement of students in college, in order to actualize the scientific management of the students, urgently required by leaders in my college to develop the student information management system in accordance with factual conditions of our college within a comparatively short time, providing the college with a fast, simple and normative management platform for office management.The article analyzed the background of the subject and sense of systematic development in the first place, and then elaborated the development history of management information system at home and abroad, as well as my focused research contents. It introduced the technology of UML and JSP, and stated the mode and feature Rational development technology in detail. Through comparison and analysis, mixed structure of B/S and C/S has been decided to develop and design, introduced the development environment and tools, stated the design philosophy and workflow, made detailed description in the relevant fields of database creation philosophy together with the interconnections among each data chart, and dissected the detailed actualization and design processes of each systematic function, drew the simple functional modular graphics, distinctly indicated design philosophy and the total layout for the program with its factual realization. In the process of developing such system, we implemented in-depth market investigation, consulted great amount of papers and technical materials, made detailed comparisons in association with actual management information task of the college and technical solutions, on the basis of investigation and research, requirement analysis and project approachment of the new system has been implemented, utilizing some modeling methods of UML, taking J2ME as technical platform, eventually enabled the system to actualize such seven modules as user management module, student status management module, student performance management module, impoverished student management module, student rewards and punishment module, student data statistic module, student information inquiry module, etc., achieving dynamic information interaction management through digitized campus network, ultimately tested the operation of system.The system actualized the data sharing of respective systems of original departments in college through integration and classification with student information, greatly enhanced the availability of student information data, effectively released the burden of student management staff, upgraded work efficiency, providing powerful technical support for informatization construction of our college, and retrenched great amount of intangible and tangible resources, meanwhile improved relevant operational procedures, thus raised the comprehensive work and management efficiency of the college. |
