Research And Development On Comprehensive Assessment System Of Higher Vocational Courses

With the development of curriculum reform and assessment methods, thecurriculum assessment methods has been changed from mainly a final paper exam toprocess assessment, so that the original course assessment system is no longer suitablefor nowadays’ courses assessment application. For most teachers in need of processevaluation, the main difficulties are: lack of data collection, uploading and publishingtools based on network; lack of reasonable evaluation aids tools; lack of evaluationsystem adjustment tools; lack of information exchanging platform based on networkbetween teachers, administrators and students. The purpose of this study is to developan effective, simple, easy Comprehensive Assessment System, in order to promote theteaching and learning effect, and to improve the quality of higher vocational educationof the whole college. The main contents are as follows:1. To discuss the method and application of Classical Test Theory, and to explorethe feasibility and necessity of its application on the process assessment.2. To examine the main technical basis of the development of a comprehensiveevaluation system, such as database technology, Web server. NET technology, dynamicWeb page technology, etc..3. Based on the investigation about the present situation of all kinds of curriculumevaluation, to design general examination module and information collection module,and to realize the functions such as networked data acquisition and storage.4. To study the method of comprehensive evaluation, the auxiliary tool design andimplementation, and to provide suggestions for the adjustment of the evaluation scheme,and provide the outcome of the course evaluation and feedback of the network platform.
