With the greatly iMRPoved socialist market economy structure and theincreasingly intense competition in the market, the enterprises in our country bear morepressure and become more urgent in finding an excellent enterprise informatization tool.As a mainstream of the development of enterprise information technology,ERPsoftware has become the most powerful tool in enhancing the enterprise’scompetitiveness.Being one of the critical subsystems of ERP,Workshop managementis the management hard core in manufacturing enterprises, which is of greatsignificance in enhancing the management quality and the economic profit of the wholemanufacturing industry in our country.The thesis designed the ERP system of Polypore (Shanghai) Membrane ProductsCo.; Ltd.. The main function modules include sales management, procurementmanagement, warehouse management, MRP planning, production management and soon. The paper took the subsystem of workshop management in the manufacturingmanagement module as example to clarify the system’s design process and realization.the thesis studies the enterprise informatization management in China’s manufacturingindustry, states the status quo of the its construction, describes the importance formodern manufacturing enterprises to implement the resource planning, analyses thenecessary functions of informatization management system, and carries out a deepresearch on how to bring about the system application by means of new technologies.Unlike the single C/S structure and limitation to WINDOWS operation platform andtraditional development methods, the subject EPR system developed in this projectemploys advanced developing tools. It can better cater for the needs of customers, andhas a more stable and more powerful operation performance. The verification test showsthat this system has the advantages of cross-platform, stability, and good security.This topic is a practical project commissioned by Shenzhen Bolitong TechnologyCo., Ltd. For this project, The system used JBuilder X, Weblogic8.1and SQL Server2008as the development tool, using J2EE and B/S (Browser/Server) architecture. Theclient can get access to the database via JSP page, and make database operations. The system used J2EE development platform, so that cross-platform of the systemrunning can be achieved. Products based on J2EE platform pledged to support the mostbasic J2EE services, making “one coding applies to anywhere" achievable. Therefore,the reference system is not subject to the operation environment. The system attainsan individualized interface and visualize the operation process. Those key operationprocesses are displayed as workflow on the interface, thus users can conduct operationsaccording to the workflow. Operation process visualization allows users to be moreclear and easy to operate by reducing the possibilities of unnecessary incorrectoperations, and propose the feasibility of customizing operations for manufacturingenterprises which that have cumbersome businesses.
