Application Of SOA Platform

Shipping undertakes the biggest freight volume on a global scale, for thecharacteristics of wide range, big capacity and low price, it will also undertake the maintransportation tasks at present and in the foreseeable future. Shipping system is veryimportant for commerce and economy of a country. The urgent affairs now are how tomake full use of modern IT technology to build a new generation of modern ports, andthis is very important for the development of our informationalized port.SOA technology is a hot topic in software industry now, the concept has beenexisting for a long time. For the characteristics of flexibility, scalability and looselycoupling, SOA technology has been widely used in recent years, and provides a goodway for solving the above problems. During the traditional harbor operation process,Freight enterprises not only need to manage their ships and goods, but also need to loginthe port customs scheduling system to re-enter, audit and declare information, thedeclaration of ship arrived port needs to24hours in advance and to be artificial tracked,all of the process above may increase the complexity of the whole operation process.This paper proposes the concept of SOA harbor-shipping enterprise informationcollaboration system, based on above background, and provides a unified convenientinformation service platform by combining the existing port information systems andthe relevant system.This paper will focus on the improvement of messaging capacity between port andenterprise, and seeks a method which can span technical details and man-madedifferences to make system have good openness, compatibility and expandability,realizes harbor-shipping enterprise information collaboration system, and providesservices for users quickly and efficiently. SOA method can satisfy the needs of theharbor-shipping enterprise information collaboration system, solve the problems oflogistics transportation system effectively, and have higher theoretical significance andapplication value.First, by combining the existing ideas of SOA and related achievements in domestic and foreign, this paper analyses the key link and optimizes the business composition forthe current situation and business characteristics of port container logistics customs,sums up and describes the system function modules for harbor-shipping enterprise.Second, according to the analysis conclusion of harbor-shipping enterprise informationcollaboration system, this paper introduces the basic concept of SOA, especiallydiscusses the modeling method of SOA. The latter parts of this paper make someresearches on the actual demands of harbor-shipping enterprise collaboration platform,On the basis of research above, this paper does the modeling for platform system byusing the modeling method ahead, illustrates the feasibility of the modeling methodproposed in this paper. Finally, the paper does simple realization for harbor-shippingenterprise collaboration platform by using Web Services technology. This paper mainlyresearches the application of SOA technology in building the harbor-shipping enterpriseinformation collaboration system.
