Rural logistics, an important branch of modern logistics, has a very important research value in the current “four modernizations synchronization” and "urban and rural integration" new historical context. Transportation is one of the key links in rural logistics, and it can be seen from the practice that there are some issues such as high cost, low efficiency, poor network links and low level of information technology existing in current rural logistics transportation link. Some relevant literature has put forward the construction of logistics center in freeway service area to improve the efficiency of the logistics transportation. In this dissertation, the construction of logistics center in freeway service area was chosen as the object to study the links between freeways and other transportation network nodes and to take full transportation advantage of freeway as backbone road network, and to explore the basic theory and key technology of rural logistics development. Considering transportation activities in rural logistics system and the characteristics of freeway service area, this dissertation analyzed the macroscopic transportation network, explored the site for microscopic transportation node, analyzed traffic of transportation nodes and researched informatization of transportation. Detailed work contains the following.First, based on the analysis of research status at home and abroad, the concepts of rural logistics and transport activities in rural logistics system, the basic elements of rural logistic transportation system and the condition and mechanism of transportation activities in rural logistics had been put forward. On the basis of survey analysis of typical rural region, the characteristics of rural logistics had been summarized; grey sequence prediction and regression analysis were used to predict transportation volume of rural logistics and obtain the basic growth trend in the future transportation demand of rural logistics. Then freeway transportation network, transportation efficiency and transportation safety of different kinds of roads were compared and the differences were pointed to lay foundation for further transportation node location, node planning and influence factors analysis, and informatization research.Second, considering the particularity of logistics node location selection in service area, 14 indexes were selected from many influence factors after statistical analysis and the reference of experts’ opinion to get an evaluation index system of site selection. Then a two-stage site selection scheme had been proposed. In the first stage, the evaluation index system and the improved vikor method were used to rank the alternative service areas and the top one was chosen as the pilot area; in the second stage of site selection, with the goal to cover the study area, the top several service areas ranked in first stage were chosen as alternative points. Then a minimum set cover site selection model was contributed with the aim to minimize the cost and maximize the benefit and solved this model with the improved competitive decision algorithm, finally logistics nodes in domain of freeway network was chosen.Third, after the location has been decided, according to similarities and differences of logistics park planning and service area planning, the key points of the logistics park construction in service area had been put forward. With the introduction of logistics functions, the original activity in service area certainly will be affected. Traffic is most important among various influence factors, mainly in terms of traffic disturbance in main route and service area due to the entry and leave of logistics vehicles; traffic phenomenon such as traffic diversion, convergence and queuing were analyzed with CTM macroscopic traffic flow analysis model, queuing model and VISSIM simulation.Fourth, in order to guarantee the accurate logistics information and traffic condition in service area for freeway transportation vehicles to enter into service area accurately, timely and safely, this dissertation studied mobile communication technology, specified freeway network transportation informatization and designed the logistics information management platform based on the Android system; this platform designed some function modules such as concurrent processing, data storage and user management on the server port, and designed some other function modules such as barcode scanning, location service, order management and voice broadcast on the client port, to ensure the efficient management of logistics information. Then this platform was tested, and the results showed that the platform can achieve the above functions.
